Dr. Justin Yax is ABIM certified in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Emergency Medicine. He holds a Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the Royal College of Physicians, London. He has worked in the field of global health since 1999 and participated in Emergency Response and development projects in Ecuador, Sri Lanka, Honduras, Haiti, and in Kenya. His areas of research have included enteric parasites growth effects on children and malaria resistance polymorphisms.

John Sheele, MD, MPH is board certified in Emergency Medicine and fellowship trained in international emergency medicine from Johns Hopkins University. He holds a Master’s degree is in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology with graduate certificate in vaccine science and policy. Research interests involve tropical infectious diseases and global public health and have included projects on Schistosoma haematobium, cholera, HIV, bed bugs, and the prevention of tick-borne illness. Recent clinical responsibilities in Ecuador, India, Guyana, Haiti, and Kenya.
